Arteaga Gorziglia is advising Parque Arauco on the purchase of Mall Paseo Quilín for 2,650,000 UF.

Arteaga Gorziglia advised Parque Arauco S.A., a real estate developer and operator with a presence in Chile, Peru, and Colombia, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Inmobiliaria Paseo Quilín S.A. and Invercom S.A., sold by Inversiones Cousiño Macul Ltda., La Rural Inversiones SpA, and Nueva Braunau Inversiones SpA, thereby acquiring the entire Mall Paseo Quilín shopping center, located in the municipality of Peñalolén. The transaction, which closed on September 30, 2026, was structured based on a total asset value of UF 2,650,000 (approximately US$113 million) and stands as one of the most significant real estate transactions of the year in Chile.

Mall Paseo Quilín has approximately 47,000 m² of gross leasable area, and the acquisition is part of Parque Arauco’s US$1.137 million investment plan—the most ambitious in its history—which aims to add new shopping centers, enhance existing assets, and expand its multifamily residential business.

The Arteaga Gorziglia team was led by partner Luciano Cruz, senior associate Ignacio Allende, and associate Kleber Monlezun. Also participating in the transaction were Cristian Carpentier (Partner), Maximiliano Concha (Director), senior associates Magdalena Fabres and Camila Torres, and associates Trinidad Aguilera, Nicolás Saelzer, Jorge Wahl, Loreto Ruiz-Tagle, and Samuel Barros, who provided comprehensive legal counsel to Parque Arauco, as the buyer, throughout the transaction.
