María Elisa Undurraga is a member of the Corporate Practice Group at Arteaga Gorziglia. She specializes in advising domestic and foreign companies on mergers and acquisitions, electricity and energy regulatory law, project development, data protection, cybersecurity, and arbitration.

  • Advised a highway concessionaire in the purchase process of a portfolio of highways in operation.
  • Advised Engie Energía Chile S.A. in the acquisition of 3 wind farms located in Isla Grande de Chiloé, for 250 MW, including the approval of this transaction by the antitrust authority.
  • Advised China Southern Power Grid International (CSGI), in its participation in a consortium for the operation and execution of the HVDC Kimal - Lo Aguirre Transmission Line Project (1,500 Km and 2,000 MW of capacity), for an amount of USD $1,500 MM.
  • Corporate and tax advice to Sumitomo Chemical Chile S.A. during the analysis and implementation of an internal group reorganization whose objective was to integrate -operationally, financially and legally- the business of a recently acquired company (Nufarm Chile) in Sumitomo Chemical Chile S.A.
  • Advised Colbún in the issuance and placement of bonds for USD$500 MM over a 10-year period, and in the acquisition of Colbún bonds already issued.
  • Advised Parque Arauco in the acquisition of the Puerto Nuevo commercial complex in the city of Antofagasta, in northern Chile, which includes residential and commercial properties.
  • Advised Grupo Inmobiliario La Reina, owner of the Espacio Urbano La Reina shopping center, in the sale of such asset to Credicorp Capital Asset Management, for approximately US$60 MM.
  • Advised Inversiones FQC 2 Ltda. in the purchase from Sonda S.A. of the 49% shareholding that Sonda had in the Chilean company Transacciones Electrónicas Dos S.A., which in turn owns Acepta.com S.A., a company that provides technological solutions in various fields such as electronic invoicing and identity authentication.
